Do you have any idea of all the things we got goin’ on?!

Big, HUGE news!

As you might have seen aaall over our Facebook page recently, we’re in Madrid right now for our event with 3Clic tomorrow. You can read all about the event in places like: Vogue Portugal here, The Draft Mag here and Good2b here. Portuguese, English and Spanish, I think we got it all covered! We’re looking forward to see how everything turns out! Hint: we might have a shiny goat ?

Our friend, DJ and one of the people behind the Hard Candy Party in Barcelona — Jordi Chicletol — will also be joining us and picking some cool tunes for our runway show in Plaza de los Carros. Just so you know, his next party will feature Brooke Candy — that’s the degree of coolness we’re talkin’ bout here!

Another HUGE thing: tomorrow we launch our online shop!!!!! Yesssss, finally, we know! Some of our goodies might not be available yet though, but they will be soon! We just couldn’t wait any longer, we wanted to share our lil’ baby with all of you as soon as we could! We’re trying to get the hang of it, but everything will run smoothly and everyone will be able to finally get their hands on some V!TOR! YAY!

And to make up for our tardiness, during our first week up we’re gonna have free shipping for everyone. Even if you’re from China or Australia, you can get your goodies, free of shipping charges!

And if you think we’re done, well you got another thing comin’!

We hate the thought of leaving our fans all alone during Valentine’s Day, so this Thursday we got a special treat for you guys! Stay tuned ;)

Love,

V!TOR

The promo videos 4 V!TOR are all about love

If you’ve been following our facebook page closely, you might have seen some pictures from the promo videos we’ve been shooting for V!TOR.

We’re collaborating with local actors, performers, musicians, directors and artists that have the same cool vibe as our clothes — we firmly believe that it’s way more interesting to work with like-minded people than living and working in our own little bubble. In fact, we encourage everyone to do the same! Networking is the way to go ;)

Our first collab was with the girlies from Thug Unicorn, check them out!

Then we had a great time eating ice cream with our foreheads with Daniela Love and Vitor Ramalhão.

vitor prtscreen2Loli and Throes + The Shine at Estúdios Sá da Bandeira rockin’ out!

António Onio and Alice freezing their butts off during a beautiful performance in a Berlin city park!

On that same train of thought, we worked with Carla Raimundo, a textile designer from Porto on our prints for REBORN, and with the installation artist Ivo Teixeira who intervened on our catwalk at Lisboa Fashion Week  — I think everyone remembers the big lines of flour he piled along the runway.

We have a lot of new hot stuff coming up, and we’re sure you don’t wanna miss it, so stay tuned!

A little directory with links to what has been said about V!TOR’s REBORN collection presented back in October, in no particular order.

We’re kinda late, we know! But better late than never, right? If you see V!TOR mentioned in other places, please do share! Thank you :)

Obrigada :)

We think it’s always an appropriate time to wish people a happy 2013 okay?

Enjoy this year to the max, everyone!

V!TOR on Portuguese Soul

We were interviewed by the magazine Portuguese Soul.

They got Luisa’s name wrong though, it’s not Castro, it’s Cativo!

Check it out nonetheless, it’s a pretty cute interview and it talks about V!TOR’s new direction :)

REBORN SS13

We’re a little behind on this, but it’s a new year and we’re blowing the dust off of our blog with some big news, and most important of all: our Spring/Summer collection, presented at the latest edition of Lisbon Fashion Week.

REBORN is the closing chapter of the auto-biographical cycle that V!TOR started with RROM, that revolved around existential and deeply personal themes, Life And Death celebrated the death of the old V!TOR while REBORN was the explosion of the new V!TOR; now less biographical and open to collaborations with creatives from different areas.

Unicorns, pugs, cats, ponies, hand-crafted crochets and sparkles celebrate the lightness of this renewed existence. There’s also a subliminal social message; encouraging people to take risks, be creative and resourceful, never let go of hope and fantasy despite the gloomy social scenario we’re all facing right now.

One of these new collaborations is here to stay, Porto’s visual artist Luisa Cativo is now joining forces with Vitor Bastos, and take the brand to a whole new level.

Leave me alone, Naomi Campbell

Today a dear friend, Jemima Daisy, brought to my attention that someone is stalking me and started to follow my steps. After the great idea developed by us, me and Jemima we found that Naomi Campbell has stolen this idea and made the following picture.
Please note the assemblages between them both. I think it’s a lack of respect and I’m starting the campaign. Naomi, Leave Me Alone! Please support by sharing commenting and sending nasty tweets to her. Justice has to be done!

Vitor <3 V!TOR In the park

This Sunday was different while resting from a great night with lazy company a loads of filling around. A little bit of Berlin fell in front of my house. The garden was full of nice and beautiful people and the music was rather cool. Inspiration for a long night of sketches. Riding unicorns at the park. Luvli scene!

Porto sunday sessions!
Jardim de Sao Lázaro, come and meet me there!

TWISSST goes V!TOR

Twissst magazine overview on the second day of ModaLisboa. Great interview with me and the press. In a great magazine project!

Yay to them. Let me know what you think! ;)

Vitor vs V!TOR performativity

When the dinner goes well and the lucky dates filled with Roquefort and rolled in bacon gets to the veins of the crew. A lovely dinner turns in to a creative moment that scares half of the table and excites the other half. And then we’ve got the newest version of “Got Milk” just because the old one started to sound boring ;)

V!TOR vs Vitor / Inspiration / Still Life

Tough day in the unknown side of Portugal. The people have dried up due to the extremely high temperature… and the need for a beer just gets higher! Inspiration for work (And I just designed some head pieces for next season!)
My iphone keeps me loaded and I am getting more and more pictures of the wildlife of the locals.

Not much happens here, yesterday there was a fashion show and thats surprising…. Recycled work, a funny freakshow, thanks to those who rysk it and are not ashamed to be ashamable :/

Besides of the inspiration gathered at my grandparents place:

The fashion show was somehow inspirational. (So inspirational that I forgot to take pictures… Influences will be shown on next seasons collection :/ )
